PUMA Laser Modules
- Up to 20 W optical power at many wavelengths between 635nm and 1800nm, see table below
- Built-in laser diode driver with analog and digital modulation inputs
- Optional temperature controller and aiming window
PUMA laser diode modules are designed for optical pumping and other applications where high brightness and long lifetime are critical. Instead of laser diode bars, PUMA is based on more reliable single emitter laser diodes. The beams of six such laser diodes are collimated, combined in free space, and coupled into a multimode fiber with the core diameter of 100-200um. Laser diodes with many different wavelengths can be incorporated in this compact and rugged design. |
